An oral history of a Native American ancestry in New York. Chief Black Hawk (aka Howard Treadwell) is the Cultural Chief of the Montauk Indian Confederacy and a direct descendant of the Sachem Wyndank. He resides on the Poospatuck reservation in Mastic, NY, and traces his Native American lineage back to the 1600s on Long Island.
